DNA Sequencing: How To Place An Order With Amplicon Express

Below you will find instructions on how to place a sequencing order with Amplicon Express along with links to useful information and forms. If you are interested in large-scale sequencing services such as sequencing a BAC, cDNA, or shotgun library, or other large project, please request a quote online or contact Jason Dobry at jdobry@genomex.com.

Step 1: Read Our Sample Preparation Requirements

The following guidelines will help to insure the best results and turn-around time for your samples.

Step 2: View Pricing Information (Optional)

Take a look at our prices for DNA sequencing and compare them to our competitors, or request a quote online.

Step 3: Fill Out Your Sequencing Order Form

You can download our Sequencing Order Form here. Instructions for filling out the order form are found on the form itself, or you can contact Jason Dobry with questions.

Step 4: Decide On A Payment Option

Amplicon Express accepts the following forms of payment:
  • Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard)
  • Purchase Orders
  • Grant Numbers
  • Pre-payed Accounts
  • Institutional Checks.

For security purposes, credit card numbers should not be sent through email. If you have any questions regarding your payment options, please contact Heather Marney. Currently, your payment information can either be faxed to us at 1-509-332-6338, phoned in at 1-877-332-8080, or mailed with your order.

Step 5: Package Your Samples For Shipment To Our Lab

Packaging your samples properly is critical to prevent evaporation and/or contamination of samples during shipping.

Step 6: Ship Your Samples To Our Lab

We recommend shipping your samples by priority or standard overnight service according to the specific carriers recommendations. Amplicon Express cannot accept hazardous chemical or biological materials. Samples submitted to us can be returned at the client's expense, or will be discarded after 30 days storage in our -20C freezers.

Step 7: Download Your Sequence Data From Our FTP Server

If you are a first time client, we will set-up an ftp account on our server and provide you with the instructions and necessary information to access your data by email. Future notifications of data availability will be made via email.
